Kraft Regular Slotted Container

Regular Slotted Container (RSC)

When you think of a box, regular slotted containers are the image that comes to mind. This traditional box style is solid and durable, perfect for your standard shipping needs. This style has two flaps that fold down and meet in the middle. Tape or glue can be used to seal the carton.

Kraft Full Overlap Container

Full Overlap Container (FOL)

Add a layer of protection to the top and bottom of your parcel with full overlap containers. This box style features extended flaps that overlap each other, providing a more rigid structure with minimal flex. Full overlap boxes are great for stacking and offer added strength for fragile items or heavy objects.

Kraft One Panel Folder

One Panel Folder (OPF)

One panel folders are made from a single panel of corrugated cardboard. This style box is then folded to create a flat bottom with end and side flaps forming the carton’s top. OPFs are handy for shipping relatively flat objects like books, magazines and albums.

C-Series

C-Series boxes are increasingly popular for brands looking to promote their products. These custom packaging boxes are self-locking for extra secure packing. They feature long, wide panels along the exterior and a spacious interior.

Our C-series containers require tooling with a cutting die, which could incur a one-time additional charge. We do carry cutting dies in a few sizes, so please contact us to discuss your box size and if tooling will be required.

Kraft Tray and Cover

Tray & Cover

Tray and cover boxes have two parts — a sturdy bottom with a removable sleeve that slides over the top. The hide-and-reveal aspect of this boxing solution elevates any product inside. Stylish and durable, this box style is easy to stack during packaging processes.

At Custom Boxes Now, we create custom cardboard boxes unique to your brand. Make a statement with box customizations. We let you choose from a wide range of details and options to ensure your box’s structural design wows no matter its use.

Box Strength

Understanding box strength can get a little bit complicated. It is measured in two ways: by considering an Edge Crush Test (ECT) and a minimum burst strength.

For our online box configurator, we attempt to simplify box strength by offering the options below. If you have questions or need additional box strength options, please contact us.

Box Printing

Box printing is the process of adding your logo or printed graphics to your custom boxes. Customized packaging promotes your brand and differentiates your product to make it stand out.

We offer three primary printing methods, depending on your unique needs:

  • Flexographic printing
  • Digital printing
  • Litho laminating

Why Choose Custom Boxes Now?

Our team knows what it takes to create the perfect custom boxes to meet your needs every time.

Order Quantities

Most printed corrugated box manufacturers have a minimum order quantity to offset machine setup costs and other fixed expenses.

Custom Boxes Now has no minimum order for custom shipping packaging. As with all manufacturers, quantity does have a significant impact on price. You can see this by testing different quantities of the same box on our box configurator. Increasing your order quantity dramatically reduces your per-box price.

Eco-Friendly / Recycling

Corrugated containers are the most sustainable, eco-friendly packaging material available. The average corrugated box is made from 43% recycled fiber. Then 85% of the corrugated packaging board produced is recycled and used again.

At Custom Boxes Now, we take it a step further:

  • Our brown (kraft) corrugated boxes are 60% to 95% post-consumer waste, while white corrugated boxes are 30% to 70% post-consumer waste.
  • SFI® Certification – Custom Boxes Now has earned SFI certification to the independent Sustainable Forestry Initiative chain-of-custody standard.
  • FSC Chain-of-Custody Certification – Custom Boxes Now has been certified by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) as meeting its stringent chain-of-custody criteria.

See our Environmental Advantages of Corrugated Cardboard Boxes section to learn more.

Production Speed and Turn Around Time

Many box manufacturers take weeks to quote, design, print, manufacture and deliver shipping boxes. Complex machines often require significant setup times, and die-cut boxes require tooling to be created.

This is another area in which Custom Boxes Now excels! Our online box builder shows you pricing in real-time, so you don’t have to wait for a quote. If you order non-printed boxes before noon (12:00 p.m. CST), Monday through Friday, and select overnight delivery, you can receive your boxes the following day. Orders received online after 12:00 p.m. CST are not available for next-day delivery. Exceptions to this may be possible by contacting a Custom Boxes Now specialist.

Printed boxes have a longer lead time because of tooling that is required — usually three to five business days after artwork approval. Rush orders may be available for printed boxes, depending on capacity. Contact us to start designing custom corrugated boxes!
